Basswood Body & Maple Neck

Constructed from a lightweight Basswood body with sleek double cutaway shape the Edge Active EQ 8 provides an effortless playability and solid tonality with plenty of resonance and sustain. Additionally the bolt-on Maple neck delivers twenty two carefully fretted notes on a smooth and speedy Rosewood fingerboard.

DMT Design Pickups & Active EQ

The Edge Active EQ 8 incorporates DMT Design soapbar pickups in the bridge and neck position to deliver a powerful and dynamic tone. The bridge pickup delivers a high output with a crisp and deep tone whilst the neck pickup produces a full and thick tone which can be balanced with the dome pickup knob to create a range of unique bass tones. Additionally, the Edge Active EQ 8 features an active EQ preamp circuit with bass and treble boost/cut controls which allow you to fine tune your tone to create a high output and full bass tone.
