The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Les Paul features an innovative LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge which locks into position to provide optimized vibration transfer from the strings to the body and also holds the bridge position in place when changing strings. Additionally the incorporation of Bigsby vibrato allows unique accents and pitch shifting to be added to your playing perfect for lead guitars or for creating interesting tremolo style sounds.
Gibson USA Burstbucker Pickups
Incorporating a set of Gibson USA Burstbucker humbucking pickups designed to recreate the tone of the classic Gibson PAF pickups the Gibson Midtown produces a rich vintage tone. The Burstbucker 3 in the bridge position provides a medium output with a well-rounded and creamy tone due to the alnico II magnet and "unmatched" bobbin winding construction whilst the Burstbucker 2 in the neck position delivers a slightly hotter tone similar to the '57 classic pickups.
