With 9 Drum Kits and 256 Preset patches ranging from Piano through to Acid Synth sounds the Edirol Hyper Canvas could be the only Virtual Instrument you ever need to buy. The enormous quality and range of the GM2 Pre-sets makes the Hyper Canvas ideal for all styles of music from Techno to Polka while the new Edirol-designed sound waveforms set a new standard for Virtual Instruments in sound quality and expression. The HyperCanvas is capable of up to 128 simultaneous voices (dependant on the host CPU), enough to handle even the most extravagant orchestration.

When you're composing why waste time loading and comparing samples? You need access to high quality patches instantly before the inspiration is lost, and because all the Hyper Canvas' waveforms are held in your computer's ram simultaneously, patch changes are virtually instant.

All the essential edit parameters like Attack, Release, Filter Frequency and Resonance are there so you can edit and then save you own variations to any of the 512 user memory locations. The built-in reverbs offer realistic simulations of ambient effects for added realism and the chorus can give new richness and depth to any patch.

The Hyper Canvas is compatible with Mac OS, Windows 2000 / XP Home and Professional / ME / 98 / 98SE and all versions are included in the same box so should you choose to change operating system or even hardware platform at any time you can still use your Hyper Canvas.
