The Mapex Armory LA Fusion Shell Pack features solid 6-ply maple and birch hybrid shells for rich, focused and natural sounding tones which are ideal for a wide range of drumming styles and genres. The drums feature polished chrome hardware, offering enhanced durability whilst complementing the desert dune finish, resulting in a stylish and high-performing kit which is available at a competitive price point.

Mapex Tomahawk Snare Drum

The Mapex Tomahawk Snare Drum features a 1mm Hammered Steel Shell fitted with a piston strainer and vertical throw-off that enable quick, smooth operation and prevents snare wire tension changes during play. The precision-tooled solid steel Armory Tube Lugs deliver greater tuning accuracy and shell stability while giving the drum an elegant yet modern appearance. Constructed from a 1mm stainless steel shell, the Armory Series Tomahawk Snare from Mapex has penetrating accuracy and long range projection. The focused power of its rimshot is resonant and the steel shell features a rounded 45-degree bearing edge for focused brightness with plenty of volume. Mapex's impressive SONIClear bearing edge enables skins to sit perfectly flat and give you a head start on your tuning.

Armory Series

Mapex Armory Series Drums feature advanced hybrid shell designs, blending birch and maple to deliver ultimate tonal expression alongside high-end performance. The drums are fitted with SONIClear(TM) bearing edges which allow them to sit flat, bringing out the best response by optimising the relationship between the heads and shells. Overall, Armory is a completely redesigned series compared to previous Mapex series, featuring completely updated hardware: new shells, finishes, bearing edges, lugs and suspension mounts.
