View Full DescriptionThe RS-201 has all the features of a premium, solid body guitar, but the striking look of a hollow body instrument. Finished in a deep Trans Black with matching black scratch plate and chrome hardware, offset inlays and Kluson tuners, this instrument is modeled on classic designs, but with a slick, modern edge.
Specially designed single coil pickups give a bright but powerful vintage tone that's instantly recognizable. The RS-201's Ash body provides a well balanced mix of clear highs and mellow lows that can cut through in any mix.
The combination of the bolt-on Maple neck's strong resonance and solid attack, alongside this guitar's wide dynamic range and long sustain, make it the ideal instrument for musicians across a large number of genres including indie, rock n roll and blues.
As well as having a serious sound, the RS-201 is an incredibly playable instrument. The Maple fretboard gives the guitar a comfortable feel, making it easy and quick to play, and allowing guitarists to take full advantage of tonal expression and harmonics.
