Loaded With a Pair of EMG 85/81 Pickups

This Jeff Hanneman Signature Guitar is loaded with a pair of EMG pickups, including an 85 at the neck and 81 at the bridge. These pickups both have Alnico magnet-loaded coils, enabling them to produces ferocious tones suitable for heavy styles. The EMG 85 humbucker provides an exceptionally powerful tone, with strong, muscular growl. The EMG 81 delivers a tone that features detailed intensity, and plenty of fluid sustain. Players can combine the pickups for a head-ringing combo that will cut through any mix.

Crafted With Alder Body

Alder is favoured by most players for its incredibly balanced tone, offering the perfect dynamic range to suit most musical styles. The alder body is perfect for playing a wide range of musical styles, with its excellent sustain and resonance ensuring each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange sets up the foundation of the guitar's overall tone, allowing players to achieve the perfect sound.

3-Piece Maple Neck Paired With Ebony Fingerboard

The ESP Jeff Hanneman Guitar features a 3-piece maple neck which is sturdy, strong and more resistant to warping than classic 1 piece necks. Its extra thin U-shaped profile is perfect for quick shredding, and the neck-through construction provides an advanced sustain and resonance. Maple offers a bright and clear tone with sweet sustain, while the ebony fingerboard brings snappy attack and exceptional clarity to the overall tone.

Premium Hardware

The ESP Jeff Hanneman Urban Camo is equipped with premium hardware including a Kahler 2315 Bridge with Tremolo and Gotoh tuners. The Kahler 2315 Bridge is constructed with a brass cam and steel saddles, which enhance the ESP Urban Camo's tone with ringing sustain and rich harmonics. There are also Gotoh Locking tuners on-board for improving tuning stability and reducing string slippage.

Jeff Hanneman was the main songwriter and guitarist in thrash metal icons Slayer. The Urban Camo was one of the final ESP guitars designed by Jeff for ESP, and with its iconic finish and build quality, it holds his lasting legacy. Deemed as one of the greatest musicians and songwriters within metal, Jeff Hanneman's aggressive and technical playing style continues to influence many new guitarists. Jeff's own influences included Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, and his skillful guitar playing led to his ranking in the top 10 of Guitar World's 'Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time'.
