The Epiphone Brent Hinds Signature Flying V Custom Guitar is the the debut signature model by Brent Hinds, lead singer and guitarist of Mastodon. This guitar features a Mahogany body with an incredible silverburst finish and a Mahogany neck with the same profile as the original Flying V first released in the late '50s. Brent's new signature Flying V Custom electric guitar has an Ebony fingerboard with a 12'' radius, which combines with the contoured heel and 1958 neck profile to ensure fast yet smooth and comfortable playability. The Lace USA Hammer Claws humbuckers are extremely responsive while also producing a bright attack with a smooth midrange crunch. Brent Hinds' signature guitar comes complete with pearloid ''Split Diamond'' headstock inlays, block pearloid fingerboard inlays, as well as the now-famous '60s-era Epiphone logo and Brent's own signature ''Skull'' logo.

To power his premium Epiphone signature model, Brent chose Lace® USA Brent Hinds signature Hammer Claws™ humbuckers, which were designed by Brent to deliver a bright attack with a smooth midrange crunch along with balanced lows and highly responsive dynamics. Complete with the classic ''Black Top Hats'' controls that include individual volume pots for each pickups and a master tone control, these pickups are perfect for all gain levels, from clean to face-melting distortion.

To complete his signature Flying V Custom, Brent chose Epiphone's legenardy solid nickel hardware which includes a 1/4'' heavy-duty output jack with a 3-layer jack plate, a LockTone® tune-o-matic bridge and a traditional ''V'' tailpiece with the classic string-thru body design, and professional Grover® Rotomatics™, to guarantee reliable tuning setups.
