The short scale Laydie Belle Irish Tenor Banjo is designed for lovers of traditional music. The banjo has a Whyte Laydie tone ring and good volume. The G9480 comes with a three ply solid Maple rim and special gauge strings tuned GDAE (one octave below a mandolin), so mandolin and fiddle players can add banjo to their tonal palettes. The G9480 banjo can, with other string gauges, also be tuned as a standard tenor (DGBE) for guitarists and ukulele players.
