Key Features
Product Ref: 93513
The prestige guitar features an eye-catching mahogany body, topped with stunning flamed maple. Along with its elegant contours, the guitar’s lightweight design ensures players can wield it all night long without strain. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a single-cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets, and flexibility across the whole fingerboard.
The Ibanez’s neck is crafted from maple and walnut, creating an incredibly bright, smooth tone with and excellent sustain and stability. The addition of KTS titanium rods ensure the neck can take harsh punishment, providing an iron-like strength built for stage life. Although maple and walnut are a naturally smooth wood, the RG3770FZ feature’s Ibanez’s super wizard high performance profile which is designed for shredders. This design is optimised for lead guitarists, as its thin nature helps players perform swift and nimble runs with ease.
The Ibanez guitar’s monstrous tone is achieved through the three powerful DiMarzio pickups, featuring an Air Norton humbucker, The Tone Zone humbucker, and the True Velvet single-coil for the ultimate versatility. Use the Air Norton to create deep, warm tones with superb harmonics, or switching for The Tone Zone to produce a wide dynamic range with a powerful projection. Using the middle True Velvet single-coil provides a more balanced tone than the other two, perfect for times when extra clarity is needed. Use the volume, tone, and 5-way pickup selector to dial in the perfect sound for any situation.
The Ibanez Edge Zero is a high performance double locking tremolo first introduced in 2010, featuring similarities with both the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and the original Floyd Rose Tremolo. This design created a unique and extremely versatile floating tremolo system which provides an added range of playing capabilities, and improves the guitar's tuning stability.
The Barless Top-Lok Nut is yet another innovative feature from Ibanez which eliminates the need for a retainer bar to maintain string tension. Through its simple design and careful injection moulding production process, it holds the strings at the correct angle whilst remaining smooth and ergonomic.
The Ibanez Prestige series combines precision, performance, and playability to create a range of powerfully versatile electric guitars. Mixing high-tech manufacturing with old-world Japanese craftsmanship, the Prestige series is innovative in design and construction. The range is known for high performing fast necks, iconic pickup pairing and advanced electronics and hardware.
