Loaded with two USA DMT Schenker Lights Out humbuckers the Custom Flames produces a strong and dominant tone. Designed to the specification of Michael Schenker, the Lights Out humbuckers deliver his signature guitar tone with detailed mids and crisp highs due to the ceramic magnets and 17K/9K DC resistance. Finished in a unique white and black design, not only do the Lights Out humbuckers provide the signature UFO tone but they also blend with the unique flames graphic finish.
Crafted With a Mahogany Body
Mahogany creates a warm and rich tone with excellent depth. It also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, for a long lasting investment. Mahogany has distinct tonal characteristics, for a full and deep sound with plenty of bite. The resonant tone makes it an ideal companion for punchy rock music, like Schenker's own style.
String-Thru Body
The Michael Schenker Custom incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tune-o-matic bridge and passes through the body.
About Michael Schenker
Born in 1955, Michael Schenker is a German guitarist famous for his lead playing with rock giants UFO and Scorpions. Having played his first gig at the young age of 11, Schenker is an iconic rock guitarist who has released many studio and live albums over the years, both with bands and his solo project. In 2007 Schenker received an endorsement from Dean guitars and has since released a series of signature guitars in a range of styles and custom specifications.
