Mahogany and Sapele
The use of mahogany delivers a warm, bright and loud tone without too much emphasis on either end of the tonal spectrum. As used as a top wood, it offers punchy mids and is also visually stunning. Sapele is very similar in appearance and tone to mahogany, and exhibits a powerful midrange, great punch and bright and airy trebles. Overall, the appearance of the Laka VUB60EA Electro Acoustic Bass Ukulele is visually stunning. The fretless rosewood fingerboard and bridge contrasts with these tonewoods and adds a beautiful finishing touch.
Fishman Clasica 2 with Built-in Tuner
As well as already featuring a beautiful unamplified tone, the Laka VUB60EA is also equipped with a preamp. Fishman’s new Clásica Onboard Preamp Systems offers a comprehensive range of features in a compact design. An EQ sidemount is easily accessed and offers volume, bass and treble control, as well as a built in tuner with LED display. This low profile sidemount also includes a low battery indicator, and has upto 111 hours of battery life.
