Delivers Clean, Clear Tones

The AD-9 pro is designed with 4 custom-made Maxon bucket brigade IC’s to deliver up to 450 milliseconds of fat, warm analogue delay. Maxon’s specialised proprietary noise reduction circuitry filter the pedals delay repeats, reducing the amount of aliasing, clock noise, and distortion that are commonly found on analogue delays. True-bypass switching is also added to the pedal, allowing for transparent tone when the pedal is switched off. All of these features allow the AD-9 pro to provide an incredible response and balance between the high and low frequency ranges, producing a clear, firm delay that still retains the warm analogue characteristics.

Incredible Delay Effects

With 450ms of organic delay tones, the AD-9 pro offers a wide dynamic range that can be used to enhance the playing experience. Capable of self-oscillation effects, the pedal also features multi-tap switching which actives a midstream delay feedback loop. When in multi head mode, the pedal creates polyrhythmic repeats against the main delay repeat to offer a tape echo simulation effect, or on shorter delay time settings provide and ambient reverb. The AD-9 pro is also designed with dual outputs, allowing you to rout the dry and delayed signals to 2 separate amps and mixer channels.

About Maxon

Maxon started out in Japan in 1965 under the name Nisshin Onpa, manufacturing guitar pickups before producing OEM products for other companies. Nisshin Onpa was responsible for designing and manufacturing many legendary pedals while working in partnership with Ibanez, including the TS-808/TS808 and TS9 tube screamers. Although many of the pedals Maxon created were released under the Ibanez name, Maxon was producing pedals under their own name, and in 2002 when the two companies parted way, Maxon began to push its name as a manufacturer of high-quality effects pedals. Today Maxon produce "hard-to-find" vintage type effects pedals, and are used by many artists such as Pearl Jam, Troy Van Leeuwen, Steve Stevens, Brad Whitford, and many more.
