This PRS SE Bernie Marsden Guitar features a pair of SE 245 humbuckers, which are designed to give you that unique sound. A three-way toggle pickup selector, combined with two volume controls and a single tone control enables precise sound customisation, offering incredible clarity and definition suitable for a wide range of playing styles. The simplicity of this guitar allows it to be versatile with all types of players, but can still produce incredible complexity and depth many players will love.
Crafted with an eye-catching mahogany body, topped with stunning flamed maple. The mahogany delivers a rich tone with plenty of warmth, whilst the flame maple top enhances the sound with brightness and clarity. Along with its elegant contours, the guitar has a lightweight design and can be played all night long. As well as appearance, this PRS SE Bernie Marsden also features a single cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets for flexibility across the whole fingerboard.
Topped with flame maple, this Bernie Marsden Guitar creates the effect of tiger stripes, for a stunning and unique appearance. The guitar is also trimmed with retro cream binding along the edge which matches the humbucker's finish.
The attention to detail featured on the rosewood fretboard is eye-catching, with PRS's iconic abalone shell birds adding a stylish and sophisticated look to the guitar. The bird inlays include representations of the following species; Peregrine Falcon (3rd fret), Marsh Hawk (5th fret), Ruby Throated Hummingbird (7th fret), Common Tern (9th fret), Coopers Hawk (12th fret), Kite (15th fret), Sparrow (17th fret), Storm Petrel (19th fret), and a Landing Hawk (21st fret).
Bernie Marsden is primarily known for his work with Whitesnake, lending a major hand in composing some of the band's most renowned hits. He has been in the music world for over thirty years, and worked closely with PRS to produce the SE Bernie Marsden Electric Guitar, knowing exactly what guitarists want from a guitar.
