The Tegeler Audio Classic Equalizer EQP1 Tube is modelled on classic vintage equalizers, designed with passive components (condenser and inductor) in the EQ-section to deliver that special warmth and depth normally reserved for older equalization units. The immense sound quality is something you won’t get in software based EQ’s, bringing exceptional transparency and overtones to your source material. It’s ideal for a range of audio applications from smoothing out vocal performances to making instruments cut through dense mixes. The EQP-1 consists of three different parts: bass boost (and attenuation), treble boost (with adjustable bandwidth) and high frequency attenuation for optimal control.
The EQP1 comes equipped with a tube stage plus premium-quality I/O transformers, ensuring optimal audio quality and performance. The tube staging delivers a vintage warmth, adding additional presence to your source audio while retaining the sounds natural harmonics. The two channel mono tube configuration gives you complete control over your audio, allowing you craft and mould your audio to your desired requirements. You can use the equalizer to do everything from add low end rumble and depth, to adding more presence to vocal performances.
The Tegeler Audio Classic Equalizer EQP1 Tube features a vintage-style aesthetic with an eye-catching blue finish and black glossy rotary dials. A large red light shows when the unit is turned on and in use. And the large, vintage-style power switch allows you to easily monitor and power the equalizer. The EQP1 stands at 2U in height and the built-in rack ears make it fully rack-mountable for live and studio applications. The rear of the unit features dual inputs and outputs for both the left and right for connection to studio monitors and other external audio devices.
