Pearl's Superior Shell Technology utilises a proprietary technique for achieving the ultimate air chamber. It begins with select woods chosen for their unique acoustic attributes, milled to precise thickness with overlapping scarf joint seams, for a perfect, air-tight fit. The wood plies are saturated with Pearl's proprietary 'AcoustiGlue' that permeates every pore and dries to the exact consistency of the wood for optimum resonance. Finally, the plies are formed in high-temperature moulds with 1000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce perfect drum shells that exhibit superior tone, optimal resonance and extreme strength.
Pearl Opti-Loc mounting system offers a rattle-free performance
Pearl's Opti-Loc Mounting System’s three-way attachment design utilises rubber isolators at two tuning points and another at one of the drum’s two air vents. This creates maximum sustain and resonance while providing rattle-free performance.
Sabian SBR Series
The SBR cymbals receive hand-guided hammering, using a peen that has been hand-shaped specifically for brass. Once complete, they are tested for their sound and appearance before receiving a Sabian stamp of approval. The hand-guided hammering is used to add musicality and complexity alongside bright tonal range.
The Sabian SBR Cymbals are made of brass which gives them a slightly muffled sound compared to bronze alloys. Thanks to the small designs, the SBR cymbals can quickly punch in and disappear. Pearl 830 Series Drum Hardware Set
The Pearl 830 Series Drum Hardware Set provides you with everything you need to set up your cymbals and snare drum. All the stands are high-quality and feature double braced legs for added durability, while remaining compact and lightweight. The BC-830 boom stand, C-830 straight stand and the S-830 snare stand come equipped with Uni-Lock technology, rubber feet and nylon bushing joints.
Additionally, the H-830 hi-hat stand features a chain drive with a standard clutch and a 'Demon-style' footboard. The included pedal in this set is the P-930 which is a single-chain, drive pedal. The pedal is equipped with a long footboard and flexible beater angle, allowing you to create a sound to suit your style. The Pearl 830 Hardware set contains every necessary stand you need for your kit.
