Cordoba's 35T Tenor ukulele's body has been crafted from acacia, creating a well weighted instrument that has a high density and offers excellent resistance against decay. Its tonal properties are described as a deep, woody feel, with a powerful tonal projection that produces a big sound. As a tonewood, acacia shares many similar properties to rosewood and mahogany, offering some bright characteristics to create strong highs and a thick, punchy low end.
Designed with a Spanish build perspective
This model features a range of appointments that share similarities to Spanish guitars, which creates an incredibly unique series of ukuleles. Its Spanish heel neck joint replaces the traditional dovetail, providing a lightweight instrument that is more stable and increases the string resonance. Fan bracing allows the top wood to vibrate freely, enhancing the sustain for a big sound, while the fingerboard is made wider for easy playability.
