Ash Body

The Talman series bass features a lightweight ash body, offering excellent comfort and minimising the strain on your shoulders during long performances. The ash tonewood provides a sweet, airy twang, with plenty of resonance for singing chords and powerful punching notes. Its firm lows, pleasing highs, and slightly scooped midrange suits a range of playing styles, but favours the harsh strikes of metal players.

Maple Neck & Jatoba Fingerboard

This stunning TMB600 Bass is paired with maple neck designed for comfort, delivering an incredible performance suitable to a wide variety of playing styles. The maple tonewood provides the Fender with a beautifully bright characteristic, tightening up the overall tones and delivering plenty of cut and bite. The neck is paired with a jatoba fingerboard which enhances the overall projection, offering a strong, hard character to add extra punch and a subtle amount of brightness.

Nordstrand CMD Pickups

Bass players will love the set of Nordstrand CMD pickups, delivering a classic tone which has appeared on many Ibanez basses. This versatile setup features the well-known P/J combination, delivering a full host of tones ranging from a deep, wide punch to a beautifully modern sound.

Stacked Controls & EQ Bypass Switch

A unique features of this 4-string Talman Bass is its stacked controls, featuring the volume and balancer on one control, and the treble and bass cut/boost on another. The 2-band EQ lets you to mould every nuance of your sound, providing excellent tone shaping capabilities to ensure you find the perfect sound for any situation. The addition of an EQ bypass switch lets you flick between the original and affected tone, letting you experiment and create a range of tonal possibilities. The treble control also features a passive tone control, offering excellent adjustments even when the EQ is bypassed.
