The Line 6 JTV-69S Variax, developed under the watchful eye of world famous luthier James Tylor, uses Line 6's pioneering Variax HD modelling technology to recreate the output of dozens of your favourite guitar and pickup models within one instrument. From searing humbucker crunch, to exotic sitar twang, the Variax's modelled voices produce not just the sound of each instrument's output, but the real feel of playing them too. From the way the volume and tone pots react, to tonal changes across the 6 strings, every possible parameter was measured, re-measured, modelled and re-modelled until even the most seasoned hollow-body aficionado would have trouble telling the difference between their instrument and the way it's recreated, despite the JTV's solid alder body. A true marvel of modern engineering.

The double-cut, 60's-inspired body allows unfettered access to all 22 frets of the ebony fretboard, which gives a naturally bright tone. Unprecedented tuning potential. Access a giant range of tunings, all digitally preloaded into the guitar. The Line 6 James Tyler comes with a stack of tuning presets on-board, meaning that simply with the twist of a dial, you can go from standard tuning, to open D, to whatever else you fancy. Once again, with the Workbench HD application, you're also able to customise your own tunings string by string, and save them into your guitar for future use. Altering your sound has never been this easy.
