Because PRS have loaded it with a pair of custom 58/15 “S” humbuckers to ensure you hit the heights of performance. And PRS have improved on them by pairing them with an LR Baggs Piezo system. Plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack then use the volume controls to blend the 58/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones.
You can also plug into the jacks separately. The magnetic pickup's signal is delivered to your normal electric amp while the piezo runs through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. It also has a three-way selector meaning you have the freedom to sculpt your tone, reaching the exact sound you want. Ensure your creativity bears no restriction.
