Providing pristine tone. The piezo pickup on the Colt Bigsby is one impressive innovation. It brings out the beautiful, natural acoustic tones of the maple body, giving you a bright, twangy tone to play with. It has a warm voicing with plenty of character, and helps to bring a new, acoustic-style dimension to your music. It is incredibly useful for live shows, where switching between an electric and acoustic would normally not be possible.
There's also two powerful DMT Designed humbuckers in the neck and bridge. The bridge position will give your songs that unmistakable vintage crunch, having a bright, punchy tone which shines with crispness. The neck position pickup sounds much warmer, giving your notes that fullness and fatness which is perfect for lead. In combination, these pickups provide a dynamic, wide tonal range which will help you deliver a huge sound.
