ENGL’s First Acoustic Combo Amp

Built in collaboration with Schertler, the A101 Acoustic Amp offers 150 watts of pure acoustic power with a beautifully warm, rich midrange and a silky smooth high end. The amp is crafted from a beautiful wood exterior, adding to its acoustic style while its 8’’ speaker delivers pure, organic sounds with a soothingly warm characteristic. Due to its high power, ENGL have added a ground lift switch to the amp to reduce any hum to a minimum.

The Perfect Performing Amplifier

Although designed to amplify the acoustic guitar, the ENGL A101 Amp features a wide selection of channels and inputs to accommodate a range of instruments, making it perfect for performing musicians. The ENGL features 2 channels with a line input, one channel with a hi-z and lo-z input, and the last offering audio inputs for connecting external audio devices. Each channel is equipped with a wide selection of controllable parameters, offering an EQ, volume, and effects. The in-built effects range from a hall and room reverb, to a delay, and even a chorus and room combo. These effects can be added to the first 3 channels, providing players with the option to enhance their tone and performance.
