The MarkBass Marcus Miller 104HF Bass Cab features 4x custom 10'' drivers with neodymium magnets, giving you maximum power but with minimal weight - perfect for busy bassists on the move. Weighing under 23kg, this portable cab is the perfect partner to the compact MarkBass Marcus Miller signature amplifier heads.
The 104HF features 4x10'' drivers which provide excellent punch and projection. A 1'' voice coil tweeter extends the cab's top-end response, allowing you to dial in your amp's treble frequencies and accentuating the high-range of your bass guitar - this is ideal for slap bass, melodic playing, chordal work, and grooves. The cabinet features a rear port which helps expand the low-end, meaning you can easily use this cab on its own to keep up with your band during gigs and rehearsals.
The Marcus Miller 104HF can be mounted in a traditional vertical format, but the wedge design also allows you to tilt it back and use it as a personal stage monitor. While the cab's full-range response and light weight makes it ideal for players with a compact setup, the 104HF can be paired with extra cabs when you require more power and projection on larger stages and with louder bands.
Marcus was originally a session player and worked on countless projects - over 500 recordings in fact - playing with artists as diverse as Luther Vandross, Grover Washington Jr. Roberta Flack, Bryan Ferry, Billy Idol, and more. Marcus went on to win the "Most Valuable Player" award from NARAS to recognize his achievements as a studio musician. Marcus has led a diverse career, including writing music for Miles Davis, hosting a jazz history show, writing numerous film scores. He has won Grammy Awards as a producer and won the Best Contemporary Jazz Album award for his 7th solo instrumental album, M2.
