Key Features
The Shakmat Knight's Gallop is a unique and versatile voltage-controlled rhythm creator, generating almost limitless numbers of rhythms and polyrhythms through two channels and five different modes. The five different modes featured in Knight's Gallop are Divider Sequence, Classic Euclidean, Revised Euclidean, Erdos Deep and Divided Sequences, each can be used to create a vast and unique set of complex rhythms that can be outputted through independently controllable outputs to expand the flexibility of your Eurorack synthesizer.
Product Ref: 185671
Offering a plethora of different options, Knight's Gallop features five main modes of operation to tailor your division and groove to your music. Main mode (MN) offers four modes for the second output: reset, no shifting, inversion and reverse. Compute mode (CP) calculates corresponding sequences for the second output to deliver musical polyrhythms. Random mode (RD) introduces four different types of chaotic randomness to your sequence through the second output. Dual-mode (DL) gives you control over each output separately and Record mode (RC) lets you record your sequences within the Knight's Gallop.
Designed with a unique "algo-rhythmic" design, this sequence can produce two sets of complex triggers for unique and interesting grooves that aren't possible with conventional sequencers. With five modes of operation separated into "tables", each mode produces a different approach to rhythmic creation, including sequence division, euclidean sequencing, and anti-euclidean/split sequences. Not only that but included in Knight's Gallop is a computer-generated mode that creates associated sequences for the second main output to explore a new universe of potential.
