The Autodub is the perfect tool to complete your modular system and can be used in a variety of ways to suit your every need. This VCA is not just limited to processing your signal but can also be used to mix your CV signals or boost said signals in situations where a higher level is required. Whether you just need a stereo VCA, utility trigger button for external modules or as its namesake suggests, for adding dub-style effects to your sub-mixes or single stereo channels, the SSF Autodub is ready to give you whatever you need.
The conveniently large button situated at the bottom of this module is what engages the VCA send however, the button’s function changes as per the use of the module in different scenarios. This means for example that you are free to use external CVs where the button would then function as an activation switch for the control voltage signal. The power really is in your hands with this module.
The wet/dry control knob featured on the Autodub gives you control over fine-tuning your signal and gives you up to 2x gain on your original input signal and up to 4x gain on the output signal when routed back to return inputs. This allows you to realise full potential gain through your modular set-up when using the level control knob.
The convenient Gate Output jack featured on the Autodub allows you to have timed control over your external modules such as envelopes, VC switches, bursts and advancing sequences. This can then be routed externally or back into the Send VCA CV input gifting you the ability to add dynamic fades and modulations. This VCA really does it all.
