Compact, portable and lightweight Audio Interface

Ideal for expanding on your setup, the RME Digiface USB features four optical ADAT/SPDIF I/O's resulting in additional 32-channel inputs and outputs for your recording system. Following the legacy of the HDSP Digiface, the Digiface USB simplifies your workload with a simple USB 2 connection for plug and play compatibility as well as eliminating the need for external power supplies. A zero-latency headphone output via 6.3mm TRS Jack allows you to monitor back your recordings and levels in stunning fidelity.

Take control over your recordings with TotalMix

With RME Digiface USB, you will gain instant access to the celebrated software TotalMix. This allows for practically unlimited mixing and routing operations with all inputs and outputs to create your own customised templates and sessions. as the RME Digiface USB does not have any integrated DSP, there are no effects available within this version of TotalMix, instead, you have maximum control over how your sessions are organised and routed. With the powerful Control Room section, you have access to Talkback channels, mains/phones fader groups, mute groups and much more, all controllable remotely with Mackie or OSC protocol.

The unique capability to create as many independent submixes as you need makes TotalMix every producer and engineer's dream studio companion. With TotalMix, you can set up to 17 delay-free submixes, unlimited routing of inputs and outputs, send your signal to several outputs simultaneously, integrate external devices such as outboard effects, simultaneous playback of different programs via a single stereo output and much more. However you need to set your session up, with RME Digiface USB and TotalMix, nothing is impossible!

Test, measure and analyse your signals with DIGICheck

The secret weapon of high-resolution audio measurements, DIGICheck allows you to meter, test and measure digital audio streams in stunning resolution. Monitor all channels in your audio stream using Spectral Analysers, Goniometers and even Bit Statistics to check your Peak, RMS levels, phase correlation, dynamics signal to noise ratio and much more. Completely customisable, you can choose what parameters to view and how they are displayed within your windows to best read the data.
