These kits feature the original one-shot samples that launched the Steven Slate Drums business, along with 13 new Designer presets spanning everything from vintage to modern kits. Many of the samples within these designer kits have baked-in processing with high-end vintage analog equipment, making them sound fantastic out of the box.
Also included is the SSD5 Deluxe 2 instruments. This pack contains the most in-depth sampling with a tremendous level of velocities, hits and articulations to create the most authentic and natural sounding drums possible. In order to maintain a natural feel and sound, only very little compression and EQ has been applied to these samples, effectively making them unprocessed.

Both SSD5 Classic Vol.1 and Vol.2 are included. These samples show a different side to the Steven Slate Drums collection, where they don't contain overhead microphones and instead only contain one direct microphone and one stereo room microphone per sample, allowing you to craft authentic-sounding vintage drums, perfect for achieving the staple sound of the '60s and '70s.
