The Rosedale oboe, unlike others, features a full conservatoire system which provides a professional playing experience. Unlike many other simplified or thumbplate alternatives, this full system includes open hole keys and trill keys to make playing easier and tuning more secure. Additionally, the Rosedale Oboe includes a third octave key which allows the instrument to sing in the highest registers.
The Rosedale Oboe features a stunning ebony body, which is hard wearing and produces a resonant, warm tone. The silver plated keywork is also very hard wearing and less susceptible to tarnishing.
Included with the oboe is a set of cleaning and maintenance accessories which comprises of a reed, cork grease, cleaning cloth and a miniature screwdriver. The hard case with handle provides a great place for storage and transporting with it's plush lined moulded interior.
This instrument includes a free set up by master technicians in the UK so that it reaches you in great condition. This set up includes any regulation, lubrication and adjustments required to make the instrument play superbly straight out of the box.
